Whatsup guys I have a question. A good friend of mine has a 89 iroc 5.7 and is having an issue witj start up. He has to gas it while crankin so it can stay on. Its throwin codes like ignition circuit failure an the map sensor. It might need a tune up but the thing is we cant find the map sensor location I dont know if it has it or not so I looked online and they say it does and it doesnt but why would it throw map sensor tbc help anybody thank you..

That car does not have a map sensor. It has a MAF sensor. ( Mass Air Flow )
