You are just selling the head unit, for 1400 is a good deal, but i have to get the rest of the kit, brackets, plumbing, other, i would have to look into what everything would cost me...Don't yopu have to do some fab work to get the blower to fit?

Re: Wtb Blower

You need to shim the blower forward a bit then grind a tad off the block, a stronger bracket than a D1/600B is recommended regardless so it might be saving you some money if you went with an SD bracket right off the bat instead of buying ATIs stuff then selling it later.

Re: Wtb Blower

Spacers are aprox 1/2" and grinding is pretty minimal, doesnt hurt the integrity of the block.

http://www.sd-concepts.com/

They sell spring tensioners, the lt1 ATI kit has a bolt tensioner that will destroy belts and apply uneven tension to the belt.

There's a good chance I will be swapping my ys-trim for a turbo this winter. It's run a best of 9.76/145 in my 3650 lb pig despite a dying Coan converter. Perfect condition, spent most of its life in a cabinet cuz the car was broken. Not sure what it's worth - probably about the same $1400 as the D1X.

Good question - I hadn't thought this through. I have the head unit, Vortech brackets modified by Madman to fit the ys-trim, cog drive set, and a custom mounting plate plus idler pulley that will likely become an Acceleronics product. Pix of the prototype:

I also have a freakin' gorgeous (IMHO) 4" intake pipe that might as well go with it:

This pipe clears everything, fits perfectly, and is a work of art! I haven't worked out a price for all this stuff, but no doubt it will be more than $2k.

Re: Wtb Blower

If you are looking a buying a big blower you might want to reconsider yor budget. Here are some prices of the top of my head:

Blower Head unit - $1400 (which I will say is a great deal for a D1-x)
Blower pulley and Crank Pulley - 100-200
SD Concepts blower bracket - $495.00 plus you need to provide them a bracket.
Intercooler - 700-1000
Bypass Valve - 200-350.00
Intercooler pipes - 400-600
T-bolt clamps and hoses - 100.00 - 200.00
Misc.- blower belts and oil and return lines for the blower - 100.00

This is actually just a guestimate.

Re: Wtb Blower

i am selling a T-trim unit.. i could send you all brackets and intake plumbing (non intercooled). crank, blower pulley,

You would need the screws only... pricing 2200 shipped.. .Let me know if interested... you would still need fuel upgrades and ignition upgrades, but the supercharger portion is there complete.

mail me at highlander@prtc.net or highlander@cartechpr.com and we can work out something.

Thanks

LJ, got any better pics of that inlet pipe mounted on the car? My custom YSi setup is set up like that too. Are you running a stock steering rack? Price?
