I figured since most of the methanol injection users are probably here in the FI section this would be the best place to ask.

Seafoam does a great job at cleaning the top end of your motor. My question is, will methanol also keep things clean on your top end in the same way? Or would there still be a use for the Seafoam every now and again?

 

I have read many times that alky/meth injection will leave your pistons and combustion chambers looking new (no carbon buildup). owever, I dont have first hand experience.

My intake looks very clean and it didn't look that way before I installed my alkycontrol kit about 4 months ago. Couldn't tell about the combustion chambers. Next time I pull the spark plugs I'll try to look.
