Will JB Weld hold my Vortech oil drain fitting properly???

What I did was screw the fitting in until you could only see 4 or 5 threads. Then I put JB Weld on those threads and tightened it down all the way. I think it may have started to strip but it's in there nice a tight. Then I put a beads of JB Weld all around the fitting and sealed it. I left a portable heater under the car to help it dry overnight. Will I have problems or will this seal it nicely??? JB Weld seems to work good unless its under high pressure or lots of drastic temp. changes. I just want to know if I did this thing right...

I've had JB Weld on my radiator for 5 years, and it hasn't leaked yet. A friend's dad used it to seal up holes in his cylinder head, and got another 100k out of it.
