Where to get Mandrel Bends??

I'm looking for a place that I can get mandrel bends cheap. The problem is I need 3.5" or 4" for my down pipe. Mild steel will work and price is a major concern.

Thanks,

Highlander, Stainless Works has this capability in-house. I'm sure you could send them a pipe and they could replicate it in a one-piece form.

There's a place in Litchfield that can do mandrel bends up to 6" in diameter. I can't think of their name right now, but I'm sure someone else from Minnesota will know who I'm talking about.

So far www.mandrelbending.com has looked the best. IF you buy 5 or more the price drops in half for mild steel, $43 for one, $20 for 5+. Atleast I think I'm reading the site correctly. The only problem is that they are 90* bends not u-bends, but I think they'll work.

Re: Where to get Mandrel Bends??

I can get 4" mandrel bends(90s) down the road at a truck store for about 25-27 dollars a piece. I could help you out if you need it in getting them to you, although the shipping may not make it worth it.

I just checked the link in Roosters post. Those prices are awesome. 34 bucks for a 180degree 4".
