Re: what should i do

well first off 400 to 600 HP is a big difference. im going back to the dyno in a week prolly and im 100% confident i can put down 400 HP or at least 390HP and my car is a daily driver. with that said you need to figure out how you want the car to drive. daily driver? street beast? weekend killer? also gotta know what you will put up with heads cam car in high HP might **** you off b/c of the cam lope surge and gas usage im personal opinion is turbo for the plain fact that when im cruising around all it does is sound cool dont make any boost untill im really getting on it so its not effecting my gas milage and for a daily driver it acts like it did b4 the turbo except its louder and actually i get better gas milage. as far as a supercharger i wont open my mouth about that b/c iv never been there but im sure someone out on this site has though......... then the budget comes in how much do you wanna spend? thats the kicker you can make a high HP heads/cam car for "cheap" but its gonna suck when you are at a red light tasting gas lol

Re: what should i do

firechicken put it pretty well...i would be thinking 355 with all forged internals and a descent turbo set-up should put u in the 600's, or you could go 383 with some LE2 heads and a supercharger would put you around 550. I would rather go with the 383 just for the torque and a supercharger is all muscle but on the other hand a turbo sounds insane and the 355 will make more horsepower...so it kind of depends what you want..

Re: what should i do

ya my camaro is a daily driver and i was leaning toward the turbo but i cant find that many kits. i know about the sts but im afraid becouse the turbo is open to all the elements (salt, water, snow, dirt, sad ect) i was also looking at the pro turbo kit and the speed inc but the speed inc is too expancive im willing to pay 4-5 thousend. the with the turbo do you need the change any internals or will the stock ones handle the boost
