I have a 355 w/ blower pistons....I am going to make it a 383. If I can pick up a blower cheep, how much hastle is it going to be for me be get a supercharger. What am I going to need.....I am just trying to see what I am in for before I go buy one. Thanks, Jason

Why not put the blower on your current setup??

 

well i want to know what i am getting into

 

New pistons, rods, crank, bearings, not to mention machine work for clearancing for a stroker rotating assembly... basically an entire new shortblock, minus the block.

Since your current setup has blower pistons, throw a supercharger on it and cruise around while you build a new 383. The only extra cash you'll be spending is for the block. Then you'll have a backup motor when everything is done.
