Thumbs up Well, it lives, kinda!

Well, my twin turbo project lives, kinda..

So far I have seen 11 psi on the boost gauge (ooops, what wastegates? ) I found that the stock wastegates off the diesel don't operate off of boost, so I have to change those out, I just have them held shut with a couple springs for now.
Also looks like one of the JY turbos needs to be rebuilt. The impellers seem to have a lot of bearing drag, and the compressor housing is getting warmer than the other one, so I am pretty sure that I am only getting boost off one side (did I mention I saw 11 psi?? )

I also am seeing my 4000 stall flash to around 4500, and that is where the boost starts to climb, so I think a lower stall is in order, to load the motor sooner. Next project is to swap out to a 3200-3400 and see what that does.

Initial testing, driving around with a rough tune on the DFI, A/F is pretty rich.. on 31 x 16.5 Hoosier DOT tires, I can't hold the rear with the brake.. I power braked until it started to turn over, then just decked it for fun.. darn thing spun thru 1st and half way thru 2nd (had to get out of it then, got a little squirrely).. so I guess it is actually making SOME boost..

So.. I ned to get some more actuators, rebuild a turbo, get all the piping coated, and tune the DFI a little better so it will idle..

then I will post another update!
