Well a lil update

Well, finally got to getting my car out! I still dont have the car registered, but we took it out for a lil session. Roguedriver, my brother, and myself landed up taking my car to the dyno to feel her out and get some baseline #'s. We loaded Roguedrivers timing table to my tune and let her rip. First run we made 657hp @5100 rpm 695tq at 4900rpm. Made a second pull, and made 549 hp @5750 511 tq@ 5500rpm?!?!? Found out I blow my IAT sensor out of the intake elbow. Fixed that and made a third pull. This time I watched the boost guage to see how much boost we were making. We got 15psi, made 752 hp@5600 rpm 726 tq @5350 rpm. I was a lil freaked out by the 15psi, considering Im only supposed to have a 6# spring in the wastegate. So, we checked everything out. We all noticed we didnt hear the wastgate open. Turns out I had the vacuum line on the wrong port Also, we noticed the Blow off valve, I guess isnt opening either. My silicone coupler came apart at the maf. So, we called it quits 'til I can figure out why my wastegate and blow off valve arent opening. Also, turns out I blew out a header gasket

Gotta get everything straightened out and try again. But all in all, Im pretty happy with my DIY kit and $500 turbo.

Eric

Thanks guys! Yeah, its been a long, long time. I lost interest in it for a while 'cause of time and money. Now, I just gotta get these little things taken care of and maybe I can start drivin' her 'round a lil!
