Way to check the alignment of the blower/crank pully
I just did this about 3 months ago. I used a level on the faces of the blower and crank pulley. I had to use washers between the blower and bracket to get the blower pulley lined up with the crank pulley. The crank pulley you are pretty much stuck with what you have unless you remachine the spacer.
When I got the SDCE setup I ASSUMED all this would be lined up. It however was not. Soon my SDCE pulley started wearing on one side because it was not aligned properly. In order to get the belt to ride true over the SDCE pulley I used a crescent wrench and slightly bent the arm of the tensioner until the belt would ride in the center of the pulley without wearing.

I went through belts due to pulley misalignment, I also tried the washer behind the crank pulley idea, still did not work, I even torqued each bolt to ensure that the run out was minimal. Finally I had a billet spacer made ($80.00 Bucks) but no more $100.00 belts having to be replaced.
so i thought i had everything lined up 100%....drove around everything was going fine..decided to go through few gears 2-5th, pull over, sure enough belt is getttin torn up..BLAH
