(from VW to V8) need help/info about a paxton LT1

hello im a VW guy that is buying my dads old trans am its a 6 speed with a lt1 crate motor, paxton SC, bbk headers, a cam of unknown origin, stock heads, a cat back, MSD setup with boost and timeing control and a 6000rpm revlimit. i dont seem to be able to find any info on the paxton SC kit anywhere and i wanted to know if any one knew anything about them, like how mutch boost there good for anything like that also any hp gestemets and 1/4 mile times. also i live in AZ and we constently see 100-120 temps in the shade, do i need to upgrade to some kind of intercooler or water injection? thank you, any advice would help, Brian

The issue with finding info on this particular setup, which is why I asked for the info, is that Paxton doesn't make kits for the Fbody cars, meaning it was a custom job. You'd have to contact Paxton, and see if they can give you info from the numbers you found:
Paxton

unless somebody else know the all the Paxtons by heart That's all the help I can offer. Sorry.

As for the temps and intercooling. it kinda all depends on how much boost you're running. when/if you contact Paxton, they should be able to tell you how much boost you'd be running with a stock pulley for that unit.

And if the car hasn't had any problems up to this point (how old is the supercharger/car), then there shouldn't be any reason to add components. Though any intercooler will usually help....

i found an old paxton brosure showing a kit for bolth A 1994-95 lt1 camaro part #1101102 product code 1 and a list price of 4,500 and a kit for a pontiac1993-96 small block,LT1 witha a part# of 1200606 product code 1 and a list price of 4,495.00 so thay did make kits they just dont any more wen my dad got this kit i think it was in 2002 the shop he got it from said that they wernt going to sell the paxton kits any more and that thay were switching to some other brand im guessing this is do to paxton no longer making the kit i allso for the paxton supercharger service manual witch states that the sn93 charger puts out 5-8lbs of boost and 850 CFM. and it looks like with an upgraded impeller it puts out 9-12 lbs with 1300cfm. so thats somthing also some where in this manual it has info on cleaning your water injection but i didnt see any extra lines coming from the window washer fluid bottle. any way thanks for your help and any ferther info, Brian.
