vortech'd 383 LT4 freshly built, bad sputtering

Brand newly built 383 stroked LT4, with a vortech V1-T s'charger. Having problems with the driveability. PCM is on its second reprogramming. Idle is fine, but on the road test, car behaved as if being governed at 2800 redline. Ran terrible, sputtering in any gear, forcing excessive shifting just to keep moving. Parked and pulled the plugs. Drivers side plugs are all blackened and reek of fuel, although not soaked. Passenger side plugs are burning normal. Longtube hookers hold oxygen sensors that are behaving the same way as their respective plugs. I used a multimeter to test O2's, and they both tested within spec. The O2's are pn AFS75, but i wonder if they should be AFS97? And also, would a problem with the MAF create a situation similar to mine? Thank you for the help, much appreciated for any hints.

More info on fuel delivery and spark please.

Sounds like you could have a leaky injector or two. Better be careful or you'll be buying yourself a new starter soon.

You said that the O2 Sensors are within spec. What are the BLMs? I'd be concerned with an air leak causing the O2 on the drivers side to read lean forcing a rich condition. This could be an indication of an intenal intake manifold leak. Meaning, the manifold could be leaking from the crankcase into one or more of the intake ports on the head.

thanks fellas for your help. Those are very good points that were brought up, and i will pass them on to my engine builder. I have contacted him, and i am awaiting a date to drop the carback to him. I appreciate the help, and i hope i can return the favor in the future.
