Vortech rebuild

Has anyone rebuilt there supercharger. Mine is starting to leak from the front seal behind the pulley. Is there a kit that can be bought? Is it hard to do? Where did you buy the kit and how much?

Re: Vortech rebuild

If it's just the front seal, then pick yourself up a CW (Chicago Rawhide) Seal at any place near you that sells oil seals and sells CW seals. The number on the seal is 9725. Pull the pully off then the top cover. Be careful how you take it off and take note of how it goes back together. Pop the old seal out, and put the new seal in and put it back together. It's not hard at all.

Not sure about the bearings. I would imagine you could pick them up local if you had the number for them or pulled the number off your old ones. Never changed them though.
