Vortech pulley sizes/boost numbers.

hey guys, i havent bought a boost gauge yet and im trying to figure something out.

ive had some weird problems with my 6psi set up that no one else has has with the same boost.

i had problems with my MAF due to boost and also with my egr, which is due to my pcm having problems reading the boosted map.

anyway, EVERYONE has said that i shouldnt have these problems with only 6psi, so im wondering if my pulleys are the right size.

i got my SC kit off ebay and it was all brand new, the SC pulley says 3.33" and i measured the crank pulley and it was around 6.5" so im thinking that its the 6.66".

what should the boost be with these pulleys and what would it be with the 3.33SC and a 6" crank pulley???

thanks
jeremy

Re: Vortech pulley sizes/boost numbers.

I had the 3.33 and 6.66 pulleys on my old 355 and got 8psi boost. It had 7 psi with vortech's dryer hose before I changed it. I'm running the same pulleys on my 385 with 5psi boost

Re: Vortech pulley sizes/boost numbers.

are those the pulleys that are advertised to make 6 psi?
