Vortech pulley combo needs the right belt

Anybody run the 7" and 2.95" pulley combo on their vortech? Looking to find the right size belt for this setup.

you can use a string to get close and wrap it around the pulleys and tensioner but its tough by yourself. it helps to have another set of hands so you can clock the tensioner where it should sit loaded. try napa they stock some 8 ribs and they can get you one by diameter.

Thanks bro. I think it'll come down to that. Don't know if the grooves in the pulleys will affect my measurements in the wrong way though??

The only thing I found in a long search was for a 7" pulley and a 2.75" combo that resulted in a 41.5 combo, is it reasonable to calculate based off those findings? The thread:https://www.camaroz28.com/forums/sho...ight=belt+size

It seems as though all these belts typically falls between 40- 42 inches.

I think I estimated what I needed by using the other belts that didn't fit, then bought a new one at NAPA - had to exchange one time and then it fit. Wish I knew just what to tell ya, but I think it was a few years ago that I did it.
