Vortech with Crank Trigger ???

Has anyone done a Vortech and crank trigger setup? The engine and FAST setup now necessitates one and I'm looking for ideas on getting all to fit.

Re: Vortech with Crank Trigger ???

It is a ATI superdampner with ASP cog crank pulley,I used a universal MSD crank trigger and did all of the machining myself. I am a toolmaker by trade so its easy(lol) I had to change some dimensions on all parts involved to make it work.Machined down the thickness of the hub on the cog pulley and recreate the counterbore, then I had to open up the cranktrigger wheel to locate on the dampner. Then make a locator bushing to line everything up correctly. Then I had to modify the trigger pickup to work with modified Vortech bracket.Simple

A flywheel trigger might be easier to implement if its a stick car.

Do you have other photos? Any suggestions on a simpler setup?

Re: Vortech with Crank Trigger ???

You can modify your intake manifold to accept a distributor and get an Accel dual sync distributor.

Is the Super Mondo bypass just a Mondo, or is it actually different from what Vortech lists on their website as the Mondo Bypass?
