Twin header update pics
Got alot done today. Got the Pass side and drivers side downpipe started, and It clears the 1LE bracket. Pics within to show how it was modded. Also got the Drivers side header all tacked up. Some of it ended up going over the valvecover, but I couldn't put it anyother place without getting to close to the hood. It looks pretty cool though, Plug changes are going to be a pain with this kit, but getting to all the fasteners is real easy. Let me know what you think!

those look great,
Could you have done the drivers side a little differently though to keep from having to pull off the header to adjust valves?
Did you manage to fit the up and down pipes around all the acceroies on the passenger side?
Oh.. be careful.. I built a set of twin headers for a SN95 and we ran into trouble cause we couldn't fit good filters on the turbos. They where positioned like that.

Pipes were fit around all the accessories on the passenger side but I ditched the AC, I didn't really use it that much anyway. I run a hydraulic cam so I don't have the need to adjust valves much unless I pull the heads, in which case the headers will be off. If I had a shorter collector I could have ran them a different way, but I couldn't go up anymore or I would have hit the hood.

I bet you could still cut those two top pipes that go into your collector.
Cut them so that they dont swing out over the valve cover but instead more of a straight shot towards the front of the car from that first bend out of the header flange.
EDIT:

Check that pic out.
The yellow obviously is going to pass over the red but I bet you can get it routed to where its not directly over your valve covers.

American inginuety at it's best
Damn good work, nothing like a little fabrication to cure what ails ya
I do have a couple of questions though,
Where do you intend to route the intake tube to the throttle body?
What did you do with your ABS and if you did ditch that how did you hook up the system to make it work?

ABS is laying on the floor in the garage It hasn't worked for 2 years (moser 9") I plan on running a y-block and bypassing the ABS completely. I'm just plumbing the linelock right after the master cylinder, and then y it to the front two wheels, then I will get a proportioning valve for the rear.
Intake tube will run right up on top of the radiator similar to Jordons car. I am doing a 98+ SS front end as well, so I'm hoping where the LS1 air box was located will give me a little more room than the LT1 hood.
