Talking Re: Turbo Kit done, with Forward headers!!!

Does anyone make an aftermarket intake manifold for the 3800 V6?

Well... the set up that I am talking about is probably going to make 600 to 700 rwhp.

Grrr. I never said that it would add 300 rwhp. A better intake manifold will give more horsepower and torque throughout the rpm range. It's just not all about peak. Not to mention that the stock intake will be a restriction. Apparently the stock intake is the only thing out there.

these wrong wheel drive guys use the stocker, just ported and its working just fine for them

http://www.3800pro.com/lists/fwdquarter.html

i dont see how custom is need... not unless you want like 8's

no i consider a custom manifold wasted mony that could be spent else ware in the car. makinf it faster... like a TQ arm, drag lights and 12 bolt

i'm not saying it is never needed im jsut saying unless your trying to run freaking 8's it work just fine stock for over 500 RWHP and P&P 600-700 RWHP

you will max these heads before you max the intank or TB

Start? Everything about this set up is custom. The engine was built for boost. A custom fabricated twin turbo set up is being made as I speak. A special order went into PA Racing for a k-member. Big Stuff 3 is the engine management. And all of this is being done while retaining the A/C and all power accessories. The transmission will be built to handle the power. A 12 bolt or 9 inch rear end will eventually find it's place as the rear end of choice.

So yeah... the stock intake manifold might find it's way to the garbage can.

Re: Turbo Kit done, with Forward headers!!!

the turbo shown is not the real turbo for the kit, so the DP couldn't be bolted on i.e. 4 bolt donut vs vband
