tuning for vortech

I just got a vortech v-1, but I didn't get the fmu. I found a set of 36# injectors and was wondering i know i will have to take out some timing and change WOT, but will i have to change anything else, also i know i have to change the injector size in the computer, but what else and how much. Any help would be appreciated.

To be honest you should contact a tuner and get a mail order to start with. PCMForLess, Madwolf, and LSRacingChips are 3 that i've dealt with and would repeat customer without question.

Yeah, but i really want to be able to tune it myself. I just need to be pointed in the right direction, i have done some WOT tuning no problems.

Can't tell what powerplant you have, but LT1_edit, carputing.com is a good start.

Welcome to my hell. Pulsating, partial throttle cruising with bucking and all of that nonsense. Never been able to figure out how to iron our the cruising to smooth it out. Beginning to wonder why I ever modified it to begin with....
