Tubing question

I am currently running a 6# Powerdyne set up on my car. I want to clean up the tubing and also move the MAF to the pressure side (Iwould like to get it out from under the car also it will allow for me to run a bigger filter) but all who know how the PD setup leaves no room for me to squeeze the MAF in the pressure side. What I plan to do is rotate the back blower housing 180 degrees so it points down and run the tubing up and through the drive side of the engine bay (the space where the cold air intake used to be.) My question is if I extend the tubing will I experience any loose of boost if the tubing is extended?

Interesting question. The few extra inches that you are adding should make no difference. However, if you are worried about it, why not make some solid tubing in this new location instead of using the flexible hose that you have now. If you measure it carefully, you *should* be able to get something out of PVC at a Home Depot with the right curves, and then call Powerdyne for some of the rubber connectors, like what's used to connect the metal pieces on top. Take photos whatever you do, I'm sure that there would be others interested in how it looks when it comes out. I'm running a Powerdyne, but have never had enough inclination to figure out how to move the MAF. You could make it easy for me .
