Question TT setup

Hey guys I've been reading the boards for some time now to research what it actually takes to twin turbo a camaro. I don't actually have a z28 yet but I plan on getting a 98-99 z28 when I graduate from college in 4 years. Is there any kits or is it a do it yourself job? I just need to get some information on prices, etc. and some pictures would be nice. So you'll see my 9 sec street legal camaro in about 4 years, trust me.

There was only one mfg of Twin Turbo kits for the 4th gen that I am aware of. That was Incon. They only delivered a few of the kits that had been pre-sold, then went out of business.
I dont kknow of another mfg for a TT kit, tho it looks like ProTurbo might have a single turbo kit.
I doubt that anything you learn today will be irelevant 4 years from now, might need updating is all.
Keep the dream going

Are you still running the T56? I've been tearing mine up on a regular basis. What was the 60ft and mph on the 9sec pass?

fixing trannys thats why I dont want to go to the track. My car is also no where close to being legal. yes its nice to go out to the track every so often, but a college student such as myself cant afford the horsepower mishaps Everything holds well on the street and that 6spd gives me the gas milage i need to keep it my daily driver. What I have now is what I have always wanted, I never got much from going to the track, I love street racing!

For the last month I had to back it down because the streets are cold. Lately the weather has been in the 80, including today. Tonight is should only drop down into the 60's so the steets will be warm enough for me to turn it back up to 19psi. But dont get me wrong it still likes to burn them tires a little at 100mph
Im hoping the bikes will come out tonight so I have something to race. I havent seen any trailer queens out for a long time

Nice car, its one of the best looking TT installs I've seen. Now that I managed to buy a car that I THOUGHT was in good shape (search for my posts for details on how I got screwed over) I'm going to be rebuilding it and since my dad just bought a nice welder and has years of experience welding...a TT setup is a real strong possibility. My only real question for you is regarding the oiling system for the turbos. Where exactly are you pulling the oil from? Are you using the oil pressure from the stock pump to feed them or running something seperate for jsut the turbo's? I was thinking some sort of electric pump drawing oil from the bottom of the oil pan would do the trick but would like to see what some other ppl such as your self did. Are they liquid cooled as well?? The ones on the 3000GT VR4 I had were, but I'm not sure. Last but not least, where did u get the flange part of the exhaust manifold that you would then built the turbo manifold on? Thanks for any help.

Carson
