TT 67 Camaro build

I am fabbing the hotparts for my friend's TT 67 Camaro build. He currently has a 355ci setup. I think he has Brodix heads and a 22x cam and is around 10-10.5:1 CR. He has a Richmond 6 speed. He has a fully forged 383 with 8.5:1 CR with Dart Pro 1 Heads (230cc) that he will use after we pop the 355ci . Here is the turbo combo (will run on 6-8psi for awhile):

Two MasterPower 60-1's
Two Tial 44mm Wastegates that dump into the DP's
True tubular 1 5/8" headers with 1/2" flanges, 2.5" collector, T4 flange
3" DP's that connect to an H-pipe (currently on the car)
We'll throw in 1 O2 bung on each DP for tuning (incase he goes EFI down the road)

All hotparts will be coated 16 ga mild steel. Here is where I am at:

lookin good...but let me warn you about master power turbos, bearings went out in mine after only 1200 miles. Tell your friend to do himself a favor now and get a different unit.

keep us updated, wish us 4th gen guys had that kinda hood clearence huh?

We'll see what happens with the turbos... hopefully we got a couple good ones.

The hood clearance and fender clearance is to die for...

I have heard many horror stories about the Master Power turbos. I would just sell them and get some good quality ones while you can still get most of your money back out of them...

When I get laid off from my current job (engineer in the medical device field), then I'll open a shop Atleast thats what I keep telling myself.

Hopefully I swing by his house tonight. If I do, I'll snap some pics.

With his curretn 355ci and 6-7psi, I suspect he will make 450-500rwhp. With the 383ci he has sitting around, he will run 10-12psi... 650-700rwhp. The turbo setup will support 1000rwhp... he'll never push it though.

Alittle off of this topic, but on all ur other turbo setups.. why do you make the passener side log manifold rather then just use a shorty header? Obviously on this one its a twin turbo but i'm talking about when you are doing a cross over setup

Its cheaper and easier to do a log manifold on the pass. side. I guess I could do anything... stock manifold, log, or header on the pass. side.

b/c no one would want to buy a pile of drivers side manifolds/headers that were left over
