For those that were interested in the new version of the LT1 PTK kit

PTK has just sent me the new version 2 pics of the new LT1 system. It will come in 3 different trims. A tuner kit with no IC, a version with Air to Air street system and a Water to Air race system. Kits can be bought with no turbo also. I will have the new pics up today...

Jose, does this effect compatibility with older kits? Did they change anything compared to my hot parts?

Yeah, the hotparts are totally different now. The kit is still rated the same hp wise, and the headers are still 1 3/4". The placement of the turbo though is pretty much in the same place.

I'm curious to see if plug access and access to the rest of the engine bay has improved... Also did they improve any other bits to the ptk kit?

I'm extremely curious to see what they came up with for the air to air intercooler, last time I talked to Dalton he said they wouldnt allow cutting of the front end in their design. I wonder...

Jose,

What would the price be for the street kit w/air to air intercooler with a head unit capable of supporting 650-700 rwhp?

Tony, e-mail sent.

Geoff, you will be pleased, the intercooler doesn't require hacking the car and even keeps the fog lights...hehe. The IC will support ~900hp. The water to air version will support 1200+

BTW plug access is about the same, maybe a touch better. Its very easy to swap plugs...thank goodness. Takes me about 15 mins with my version which is the same as yours...I say this version will probably cut that down to 10 mins. Anything is better then stock manifolds though....lol.

I'm just wondering if there are any other major differences in style. I'm very happy with the "old style" that I have, and if they've improved upon it, the more the better.

If The IC does that well, I might just switch from my idea of air/water considering I'll rarely see track time, and get a bottle of co2 instead of an ice bucket.

shoot me a price on the exact same thing Tony requested.... except, I need a head unit that will support 600-700rwhp where I live in colorado (ambient air is 12.0psi, not 14.7 like sea level)

So what are the differences from the old setup? Will the new hot parts cost more? More details please

Ok sorry for the hold up guys. We are working on doing turbo testing for some of the turbo companies so we have been wrapped up with paper work...hehe. We are looking to shoot down some of the myths about some of these turbo head units.... . Anyhow here are the pictures below, keep in mind they are just the mock up pics. The final kit is fully coated....etc..etc.

The directory is below....

Re: For those that were interested in the new version of the LT1 PTK kit

Thanks for the pics. After seeing them though I can say it doesn't look like this kit will work for me because: #1 we have emissions here and from the look of the pics the exhaust routing would not allow for a cat to be in the stock location. #2 I run a LTCC ignition with the coils mounted on MBA brackets and with that drivers side header there looks to be no way my wires could get to the plugs from the top.

Jose, if I'm missing something lmk.
