I have been hearing banks is gonna do something for the last 3 years and hasn't come through. It would be nice but doubtful imo.

Ok, so don't hold my breath! I'd prefer the turbo alternative but the costs involved with CARB approval limit the small companies from going 50-state legal even though it will pass emissions.

Another option is supercharging but then I understand that idle is difficult to tune.

 

Idle is no problem with my Vortech blower, I think that has more to do with the cam you are running

 

Yes the is carv turbos kit.
Rajay makes them for sbcs. Good to 600 hp.
