It's probably all a mute point - a turbo that big will have a very hard time spooling on a V6.

That turbo will most likely spool at 5600rpms on your car, so no, its not going to work.

run twin T88s for best atomization of air. since its its a V6, you can tie 3 cyl into one, and 3cyl into the other. then run the wastegates in series(like a supra) for best spooling. the key is a AVCR, it will make it boost good. Get the loudes BOV you can get, hell get 2.

oh yea, and NOS. neverforget the NOS. oh yea, and get one of those red air filters from autozone.

A T88 is a little to small for a 3.8...I would go bigger

A ball bearing T-100 would be the way to go. Should be good for about 1200 HP.

Hahahaha the guy didn't even respond... he probably heard T-88 on the fast and furious and wanted one. Before you start thinking about any sort of turbos, you need a new car. The amount of you would have to put into the engine, driveline, and body/suspension would be insane to get a T-88 to work on a V6... not to mention everything would have to be custom because nobody in their right mind would ever mass produce the kit to get a T-88 to work on a V6....

On a more serious note, you are better off with some NAAWWWWSSSS.

The supra (although inline 6) is only 3 liters.

not sure how a supra was brought into this, but even a real T88 would be a bit big on a Supra! a mitsu t88 is really equal to a "real" ~T72ish i believe.
