im thinking of getting a supercharger i have a pretty much stock a 93
see sig below any body with these mods or knows what kind of hp my car will
be running ??

also which supercharger do you recamend im lost on how much boost

also should i get a cam for it what are the gains and what kind

also ive been using this board since 1998 im sure just about every thing to do with a camaro has been talked about so why should any body post anything if the reply they get is to do a search thats just poor advice

 

Actually, "do a search" is probably the best advice that can be given on this board. Don't take any offense, pretty much every answer to your question can be found with a search, and believe me you will find tons of answers. Also, it is the quickest way to get information, rather than having to wait 5-10 minutes or more for someone to give you the same answer over again.

 

You'll find way more info in a search that can ever be posted, this question ha sbeen posted before, there a wealth of info in the archives.

 

Since you were offended by the search comment then I will tell let you know the basics.

-- Unless you plan on rebuilding your motor than I would not recommend installing a supercharger.
-- Making sure your car is tuned properly will ensure longetivity of your stock shortblock.
-- Both ATI and Vortech make great blowers. 8lbs is the limit on an intercooled setup and 6lb is the most you want to run on an non-intercooled setup.
