I am planning on buying a supercharger for my 97' z28. I don't want to push a whole lot of boost, just enough to get around 400rwhp. My engine is stock for the most part. CAI, 170 therm., cat-back exhaust, up-graded fuel pump. I will also buy headers and injecters with my sc, but for now i just want suggestions on superchargers.. thanx

 

Can't go wrong with either the Vortech or Procharger. Just get the bigger one so you can grow into it. Be prepared to spend $$$$$$$$$

For 400 rwhp, I would go with a heads and cam setup. Alot less headaches.

 

Yeah heads/cam is the way to go if you only want 400 hp. Im getting into a F1 blower set up for 96, and I am building a 383. I havent even bought the blower kit yet, b/c I have to build the engine first. About $8000 I shouldnt regret it though. And that * grand is only to build the engine. Big headache, but worth it.
