Supercharger installed. Whats next?

I have everything running smooth and now i would like to make the car run to the best of it ability. I have no idea what to do next. The car makes 5psi+ but it is stock besides the listed mods. I also just bought some 3:73 gears and they are on the way. I get great power in 1st but when it shifts and really starts getting up in the higher boost the cars feels like it isn't doing what it should. Any ideas?

What exactly would a tune do for me and is there something i should do or add before hand. I used the Hypertech to do almost everything it is capable except the shift firmness. They ask a series of questions and i think i have a Granatelli maf so from all the things they could do this is the only thing besides the supercharger they bring up. How would they adjust my pcm just knowing i have a supercharger? What is the best way short of a dyno tune to get the most accurate tune?

Make sure that your blower belt is tight..could be your belt slipping or knock retard...you should really get the car on the dyno for tuning...its really the only option running FI on stock bottom end. What kind of fuel setup are you running?

Belt is super tight. There is one dyno in town and they only have done tuning to ls1's so i am not sure if they have the ability. The fuel system has an external pump and an fmu. The fuel pressure rises exactly like it should. I think i know more the dyno guys do about the lt1.

You need to get it runed reguardless if theres only 1 dyno in your town, drive further if you have to.

I would not trust my PCM tuning with a Hypertech programmer at all. If you cannot get a dyno tune, I would get a mail-order tune at the least.

I agree. Even if you are not looking for more power (which having it dyno tuned will probably give you anyway), and you are just looking at having it run better, I would still strongly reccomend getting a tune.

And IMO, get rid of that Granatelli MAF. It pretty much tricks your PCM. You're better off putting a stock one back in, and de-screening it.

I like the fact the Hypertech can change the rear gear ratio, tire size, 160 degree thermo, shift points and rev limiter. If i get a madz tune and then had the rear gears installed (3:73) would the Hypertech screw up the tune? Would i be able to modify the stuff above after a tune using the Hypertech? One last thing, i see bigger injectors is a must tune item. What would the ideal size be for my mods?

IMO....Hypertech is a piece of Sh*t...tune for tire sizes and gear swaps, and thats it...you will likely need to retard the ignition a couple degrees. Dont use the hypertech for anything else....trust us on the dyno tune...we cant stress it enough. The guys breaking ring lands on stock pistons are the guys trusting the FMU...you NEED to get it on the dyno, unless you have the $ to rebuild...i learned the hard way.....5.0this can chime in anytime

If you have the Hypertech tuning in place, you need to pull it out. They generally add more timing and that isn't what you want with a blower.
