SuperCharger installed... Fueling question
Heres the background info:
1998 Z28 A4 66k on the clock
ATI Procharger P1SC
Got the charger on the car all is well. Next on the agenda is getting the computer re-tuned. It has been changed before for N/A numbers but it needs to be changed again for forced numbers.
The car has its stock injectors in it now, and I have a set of 42#'s on the side waiting to go in, also has a Walbro 255HP fuel pump. I know this car has computer controlled fuel management and a stock baseline of about 60psi for fuel pressure. Screwing with the fuel pressure is pretty much all but a lost cause.
When I take the car in to have the PCM adjusted, does the fuel pressure need to be changed or will the proper tune take care of any fuel pressure adjustments, be it baseline pressure or full boost pressure?
If any of that make sense and you can get what I'm trying to ask, fantastic, if not let me know, gonna be here for a few hours.
Thanks
