supercharger help please
supercharger help please
Ok i have a 91 Z28 5.7 (L98), rebuilt engine under 4000 miles one it, engine remains stock, other then, the headers, 3"cat back, emptied out cats, and K&N air filters, was talking to some guys about getting a supercharger, do i need to change the cam and or heads before adding the supercharger, or can i add them later? when adding the supercharger would it be wise to change the injectors or anything else? Also i'm looking for a top mount super charger, any advice on what one to look at and maybe a web sit to check out? looking to keep it on the street, and once a month to the drag track, more of a weekend car. Thanks in advance for any help..

10:1 CR and a stock motor arent too wise but I guess it would hold up for a little while.
The new 1985 L98 added tuned-port fuel injection "TPI", which was good for 230 hp (172 kW) and 330 ft·lbf (447 N·m). It was standard on all 1985-1991 Corvettes (rated at 230-250hp and 330-350ft lb torque). Optional on 87-92 Chevrolet Camaro & Pontiac Firebird models (rated at 225-245hp and 330-345ft lb torque) 1987 versions had 10 hp (7.5 kW) and 15 ft·lbf (20 N·m) more thanks to 9.5:1 compression. Compression was up again in 1991 to 10:1 but output stayed the same.
