but for $4k, you could skip the supercharger and buy an entire LT1 car.

I would think on a motor with that small of a displacement (and rod length), you'd want to run a turbo. The blower needs power to turn it and that's in short supply on a 3.4

The superchargers on the 2.4 cav/sunfire. 3800 amongst others work pretty well. Why wouldn't it work on the 3.4l? Just so you know I do have some knowledge of boosting. I have a turbo'd 2.2l ohv cavalier.

The V6 after market is there but not huge. It works off stock plat forms like stock heads and rotating assy's.
Yes there are a super charger kit or 2 out there. There is a forced fed faberaction turbo kit that is being sold.
You can get after market cams for the 3.4 big and small both hydraluic flat tap and flat tap and roller mechnical cams form comp cams.
You can get several different after market rockers for the V6 Al full roller like I have or steel roller tip like what summitracing makes.
You can get roller timeing chain sets.
Forged and hyuperuetidic (sp) pistons in sevel different forms for the 3.4.
You can get plenty of ignitoin stuff for the V6.
The draw backs to the V6 are you have to use the stock crank and heads. But they have forged rods big plus.
I even have Titanium valve spring retainers on my V6 heads.
I have even found an aluminium fly wheel, form frenzia or some thing like that not cheap.
Don't let any one tell you there is no after market.
I have a lot of V6 stuff (parts and work all done by me) on the car domain site in the sig.
