Supercharged LT1

Hey everyone on here, i just purchased a Procharger P800B, and i have an all stock motor, i know this question as been beaten to death, but i'm just a 19 year old college student and i'm planning on doing a little rebuild this winter, i was just going to freshen up the bottom end, keeping the stock crank and rods, maybe wanting to go with a dished out piston like a 17cc or 18cc forged pistons to bring me anywhere from 9.58:1 or 9.48:1on the stock head size. I'm planning on running 8 LBs of boost, do u guys think that that CR is to high or low with 8lbs?? and would i be able to maybe step up to 12lbs?? I know that eventually i will be needing to build a fully forged bottom end motor, but what are your guys thoughts? Thanks, Greg

sounds about right but your blower would be a p600b i dont know of an 800 and your gonna need some good tunning and make sure you run some diamond or JE pistons NOT SRP you need somthing forged from 2618

9.5:1 compression ratio on 9lbs boost or even 12lbs? is that low enough to get a decent amount of life out of a LT1

I would say yes its fine, but you are going to need a good piston and a good tune. What are you going to do for fuel?

Um, as for the tune i was just going to get a PCM4less tune, then maybe get a dyno tune in a while, as for fuel im getting the 42lb lucas injectors, i have a inline pump, and also a intake walbro 255 pump, but im going to try using the inline pump with my stock intake pump, then if that isnt enough pressure, im going to put in the intake? does that sound ok?
