Does anyone know if sts makes a tubor kit for 3rd gend's. I'm asking for a friend b/c he wants to put a tubo or supercharher on his stock 350tpi. Do the old tpi's even like boost at all?

 

I don't believe so, but you could throw an email STS

And about the TPI, It will hold boost, but depends on how much # you want.

 

yeah e mail them and find out, the floor pans almost identical so they may be able hook it up for you. the tpi will handle it as long as you have proper tuning.

 

Don't know about the STS, but I can tell you the TPI runs "pretty good" with boost. I have a 305 TPI and get 11-12 pounds of boost regularly, and even though many different people have just as many opinions, I can tell you it runs great. I get 388RWhp and 437RWtq. I'm told the engine may be a time bomb, but as of now all cylinders have excellent compression and I do not burn a drop of oil and it has been a good 8-10K miles. I intend to driver her hard until she gives up, then maybe I'll entertain an Ls1 or 383.
