STS 1/8 mile times

One of my customers got to the track tonight. 1st run @ 5psi was 7.8 @ 96mph. 7psi run was 7.7 @ 99mph. This is a iron block 408, stock heads, STOCK STALL, on 18in 555's, gt-70 STS kit. 60ft times were not that great; 2.02, but the mph is awsome.
The night before, had a cust with a bone stock LS1, no stall, all season tires,
basic STS kit @ 5psi. He ran 8.37 @ 87. The customer called today to order a stall.

STS doesnt work...its physics

Nice times!

I am thinking of a t-70 homemade STS with my 383LT1. How is the lag? What rpm do you see full boost.

with a 'homemade' rear turbo ure gunna stall very bad... their kits are made to run with a turbo from the back...

from their website:

If you were to take a conventional turbo and place it at the rear, you would have lots of lag and consequently, our turbo wouldn't work properly if mounted up front

it just wont work.... their turbos are sized/designed a bit diffrently from a conventional turbo... there are couple other things they dont tell (and i dont know what they are) that make it 'reliable' as opposed to 'homemade' rear turbo kits....
