stock oil pan

At what point should i change the stock oil pan...trying to fig out the buget and if it is not need or a must have...

IMHO, it's a not need. The larger pans help add a couple hp due to windage, but I don't think it's worth doing.

There is some people on this forum that have aftermarket pans and other that do not. Personally, I agree with engineermike. I am still using my stock pan without any problems.

I had to "form" it over my aftermarket windage tray and studs. I'm seriously thinking of a new pan this winter.

I had to dent mine just a tad near the oil filter to clear the rod bolts.
