starting an engine that's been sitting

I took the engine out of my formula when it was run into and put it in my Trans Am. Fortunately the motor is a low CR w/ a blower cam so will be perfect with my s-trim/aftercooler. The problem is that the motor sat unstarted for about a year. It sat complete with heads/intake/oilpan/etc.. and I plugged the exhaust ports/throttle body opening/etc..

What do I need to do before attempting to start the motor up for the first time in so long. It will of course have fresh oil/plugs/fuel/etc..

Thanks,

Aram
