Something wrong

I know this isn't a mustang site but I don't feel like registering at one just to ask this question, but im really really curious, a guy with a 94 cobra mustang bone stock save for a "11 psi" ATI procharger was running 14.2@97 yesterday at the track. Now those cars are capable of that without the charger, I told him I honestly don't think that thing was even hooked up let alone tuned right. He was clueless, the kid just seemed like someone with a good job and wanted to be cool and look cool when he popped the hood. He seriously seemed unaware that his car should be running better than that. What do you guys think could be wrong, he has it running down into a intercooler under his radiator and around coming through the fender out into his TB. About 3 of us were explaining to him something had to be wrong but he just stood there clueless like he'd rather us just shut up and finally decided to ask where he could go to find out whats wrong. In the meantime im curious, what do you guys think could be possible problems.

Nah there was no whine that I could hear, and he ran like it was stock. Barely even barked off the line. IT was seriously running like it was stock.
