Some rare pics of my car

After braving the twistas, hail and bums that live next door to the shop in Shantytown...I bring you these...

Two rear shots of the car w/ the big meats on...
Back shot showing how the meats tuck under the car
More of a side shot showing the profile of the car

Two shots of the Captain Badass hood...
Straight-on shot from the front
Nice racecar buddy...

Holy ****, a shot under the hood!!!!
Passenger side manifold, wastegate location and turbo w/ downpipe

Things I already know..
-the car needs to be cleaned (will be repainted when the bodywork is finished)
-at least it looks fast
-the silver grilles in the hood HAVE to go
-the slicks on the car are FRICKIN HUGE!

Thanks, it's just a little 383 LT1 turbo car.
We're hoping to have it fired up over Memorial Day weekend and ready to make a few runs @ North/South Shootout in June.

Any predictions on how much power you think it will make? Also that is an awesome hood.

A lot. The motor will give out before the turbos max out.

Here's the basics...
383 LT1
TH400 tranny w/ transbrake
Moser 12-bolt, 3.73 gears
10-pt cage
FAST
Weldon pump & regulator, -12 feed out of the sumped tank, 72# injectors (not ENUFF!!)
Madman suspension
Bogart D-10s w/ 10.5W ET Drags in the back
T04-based turbos w/ Spearco FMIC

I'll be looking for some 12.9s out of this combo.

This is a turbo F-Body, not a turbo Supra or '03 Cobra.

You know what...I can say the same about you too Bob. You gonna be on Power Tour? If we can get the other turbo fixed in time, I'll have it @ the STL stop. I'll tell you this...the terbos are bigger than what Brady had. I've got the same fuel system he has/had though and 95% of the suspension is from Madman.

The hood is from VFN. I figured the whole sleeper image would be destroyed by the shiney FMIC and the hissing sound the turbos would make, so I said to hell with it and slapped the 4" Ram Air and the 10.5Ws on. No sleeper now...baby's on a crack binge and will be wide awake for several days.

PS, the name is Joe, Bobert.
