I doubt you will have any problems with the blower belt. I would take a big serpentine over a cog on a stick shift street car any day.

I agree with IDOXLR8 about the clamps though, you'll definitely want t-bolts with 18+lbs of boost.
I just have to make sure that belt is as tight as I can get it. The t-bolt clamps are expensive. Like I mentioned before, I had a "ring" welded on the end of the tubes so that the couplers shouldn't come off. If they do, I'll have to buy those t-bolt clamps. I know... I know... I spent a lot on the car so far... why stop now?

I've never seen an induction tube for a forced induction car that didn't have a weld bead, or rolled bead on the end.

Even with that bead, we have blown hoses off if t-bolts weren't used. Maybe you will have better luck.

The intercooler was roughly $900.
I'll have more pics when the car is finished.

Props on a nice setup. I'm so jealous! We have practically the same rotating assembly, heads, oil pan, damper, etc etc etc... but I have no SC

Again, good job and let us know what that beast puts down to the pavement.

Thanks for the kind words! There are other posts about this car on this forum somewhere. But you can take a peak at the dyno sheet and see for yourself.

Got gas money for me? 11 mph will make the trip kind of expensive.
