S-trim T-trim Noise

I had kind of a surprise when I started the car up with the T-Trim after swapping out the S-trim blower. The S-trim made a subtle supercharger whine from the straight cut gears and I figured the T-trim would be about the same - the same pulleys were used on both. The T-Trim is quiet like it's not there. WTF? Anybody else notice this?

I've heard that they do make a quiet version of both head units.

I'm thinking that has to be what it is. But the guy who sold it to me said it had straight cut gears, and would be noisy. It's weird after 5 years witht he other one. Guess I'm in Stealth Mode now, LOL.

I noticed the same thing immediatly. My S-trim was loud, even when driving, but my T is a lot quieter. It's just enough to hear at idle (enough to were the guy you just passed that wants to race you catches up to you at the next light, rolls down his window and then has the "uh oh" look on his face), but when cruising, i can't really hear it at all. I kinda like it that way though.

I guess I'll have to like it too, Ken, cause I'm sure not taking it back off again, LOL.
