RK sport blowers?

Does anyone have a supercharger from RK Sport? How good are they?

If they suck, what's a good setup for around the same price?

RKsport just sells Powerdyne systems. They don't make them.

Did you know there is a forced induction forum? Might get a better response there.

Powerdyne is a low end system. Thought about one myself but a friend of mine threw the belt on his easily about 5000 rpms.

I am only speaking to the issue with Powerdyne superchargers based on my past experience with 5.0 Fox-bodied Mustangs. Anyone I knew that had one eventually blew it up by throwing the internal belt....when this happens it usually trashes the interior of the blower. The item that Powerdyne touts is actually the weak link of the blower; the idiotic internal belt drive.
Do a search on any Mustang forum regarding these blowers; you will be hard pressed to find anyone that says anything good about them.
One almost never hears of a Paxton, Vortech, or Procharger being torn up internally, much less to an unfixable state.
I personally would avoid them like the plague.

Stay away from RK sport stuff... PERIOD. THey take other peoples parts and jack the price WAY up... And their shipping is a RAPE to the wallet! If you want a good blower for what you'd pay for RK sport stuff, look into Vortech or ATI. www.tbyrnemotorsports.com has good prices on them.

If you decide to go with the ATI setup, contact Bob at EPP (www.exoticperformanceplus.com). He has the best prices on them. If by chance you find a better deal on one, he will beat it!

Good luck in your findings, and a future welcome to having a supercharged F-body!
