repair or purchase new bypass valve?
repair or purchase new bypass valve?
ok here is the thing, I had my bypass valve kind of ghetto rigged on the car and it was pretty close to the front tire. well the tire must have caught the vacuum line just right and it ripped the line and the nipple on the bypass off
. can i replace the plastic piece without buying a new bypass or do i need to get a new one, if so does anyone besides procharger carry them?

Re: repair or purchase new bypass valve?
without seeing what it looks like, I would say drill and tap it with 1/8 NPT tap, and thread in a barb. Epoxy the threads to seal it up. Move it away from the tire too

It's just a choke pull-off from a mid 70's to mid 80's Ford vehicle. You can pick one up pretty cheap at any parts store.
really? hmm, you wouldnt happen to have a part number would you
in the mean time i will try to tap it
