Recommended coolant pump for air/water intercooler?

The little pump I'm using now is incredibly noisy. I would have to estimate it to be about 48 times as loud as my Mezier electric wp even though that's pumping much more fluid. If there ever was a PN on it, it's gone now. There has to be something better. Recommendations?

Go to carquest or equivalent and get a replacement coolant pump for a 2000 ford lightning. You can then go to the dealership and order the pigtail for it. That's what i did , quiet and worked well.

I believe people say to go with a Shurflow pump.

Thanks. Vortech had nothing to say and no suggestions about the issue by the way.

I got a new one for an '03 Lightning/Cobra on ebay and installed it with an exhaust clamp and a piece of rubber hose around the clamp. I soldered the wires on the terminals and filled the receptacle with RTV. Good to go hopefully.

Sounds good. In the future, you can order the pigtail harness from the ford dealership for 15 bux if your setup ever gives you any problems. I mounted my pump the same way.

I'm going with a rule 1500 gph submersible pump in 5 gallon tank.
