Quick question for Vortech owners please...

So just about done with my S-trim install and noticed that it says to run a line from the charger intake (right after the MAF) to your breather. Should I do this or just leave the stock breather setup and plug the air intake hole? What will happen if I don't run a breather line like Vortech suggests? Thanks.

Higher crankcase pressures and lots of oil leaks.

Hook it up

Re: Quick question for Vortech owners please...

The line that mounts in the valve cover is the air source to "feed" the PCV. Metered air (air after the MAF) is used as this air will be dumped back into the intake manifold to be burned. Vortech extracts the air before the blower so that it will not be pressurized; it lets the PCV suck in the air that it needs.
