Quick question(not very technical)
I wouldn't enounter too many problems if I wer to say.
Take of the Throttle body a motor, make a pipe that goes off of it, maybe, 1-1.5 long, and angled(greater then 90* angled), and reattached the TB to the end of it.
I can't think of any "real" problems with this, may be slightly less efficient, but no major significant loss. And losses woudl easily be outweighed with the addition of a supercharger

Re: Quick question(not very technical)
you mean put this new pipe in between the TB and the intake manifold? i dont see how it would do much harm, if any as long as the pipe is fairly short, but can i ask why you would want to do this?

Re: Quick question(not very technical)
Sorry, not sure if I have the budget for doing it...
but L36 v6 guys(v6 fbody motor), always dream of the L67 route(supercharged 3800) motor.
but doesn't fit do to firewall clearances.(been fit but some modifications had to be made to the firewall)
Just wondered if it could be avoided by taking the TB off, angling a pipe to fit around the firewall, bring it around and towards the front. 99+ v6 f-bodies are drive by wire so no problems even with throttle cable.
Just some daydreaming thoughts of making he impossible possible.

Re: Quick question(not very technical)
Ah, I see now. I woulkdn't think there would be any problems with that application. Check out the custom intake Alvin had to make to put the roots charger on his 93 LT1, from what you described I think it's pretty similar to what you want to do.
