Question on oil pump

okay, so, im getting a turbo oil pump (tired of the smoke and trying to get the damned thing right)

So, im getting the tilton differential oil pump.

Now, it says
"The pumps are self-priming and can be placed up to 8 ft. above the source from which the fluid is drawn"

does that mean i could mount it ABOVE my turbo and it would work fine? I figured it would still have to be lower than my turbo in order to work.
