I have a 94 camaro. I wanted to put a ati procharger with 12-15 pounds of boost. What must I do for my engine to handle this boost. I wanted to build it so where the engine would last me a long long time. I know on a stock engine your looking at less then 20k. What do I need on my stock engine. Just forged pistons and a crank - should I be fine then???

 

A good forged rotating assembly would be a start. It would also help to port the heads and match the cam. Bigger injectors, fuel pump, and a custom tune are also necessary. You're also going to need some sort of intercooler to get the IATs down.
