question about converting a NA car to turbo...

Lets say I build a bad *** low compression engine built to handle boost. I.E. 9.5:1 CR, good turbo cam, free flowing heads the works... I install it in my car, all accesories included, fuel pump, 90lb injectors, fuel mamagement system, everything need to support a high horsepower engine. Could
I drive the car around with a low CR engine untill i decide to throw a turbo on? What would I have to change to put a turbo on? I know I would have to get the computer reprogrammed. Change injector sizes? So my basic question is how do you change a Low compression NA engine to one that accepts high boost? What all is involved?

Thanks abunch,
Tony

Of course you could drive it, but I don't think you would need the 90# injectors. Swaping out injectors is a 30 min job, put some smaller one's i there. The engine may not perform up to par without boost, but it could be tuned to work ok.

Hey smoknZ, where did you get your turbo kit? Or was it a kit? Custom job? Could you give me a little info on it? Thanks
