PTK kit has arrived

Well my first box arrived yesterday with the PTK headers, crossover and downpipe. The headers are 2000 deg coated "black color", they are 1 3/4 primaries, and have been EGT tapped on the #2, 5, 6, 7 cylinders. They look EXTREMELY nice, and the primaries have even been sanded down to very smooth finish for good flow. The crossover is 2 1/2" with flex section also coated and the downpipe is 3" coated, which will be used for 2 months till the 3.5" DP is done, plus all pipes join using V-band clamps. The intercooler and turbo are on the way and should arrive this next week.

I was wondering what the status of your kit was Jose. Glad to hear that it has finally showed up! Do you have a digital camera to snap some photos when you get it all installed on the car?

Good luck!

Yeah I've got some shots already of it, but left the freaking disk at home...duhhh. Anyhow I'm going to try to upload them as soon as possible. I'm really excited about this kit, I can't believe how good it looks. They did some awesome welding.....

Cool. Can't wait to see the pics! What IC are you using, the air/water that they offer, or are you going with a front-mount air/air?

I'm using their water to air setup. Should work better then an Air to air, plus mine is a bigger unit, not the stantard street kit version. BTW, my kit is the Race Version, not offered yet on their website.

What size turbo are you getting with your kit? Are you changing the exhaust on you car as well? Hope to pick up the car from them this weekend or next. Only time will tell have fun with yours.

Ok here are some pictures of the crossover and headers with the EGT's welded in. You can see almost all the connections use V-bands. As for the turbo, I will be using the new PTE T76GTQ, supposedly rated 1250hp. I talked to PTK yesterday when my turbo finally arrived, and Greg told me the exhaust side it quite a bit bigger then the standard Q-trim. So I'm waiting to see it also, and I will post pics of it when it arrives. Anyhow on to the pics, nothing special, just took some quick snaps...

The kit looks very nice. I'm curious though about how the crossover intersects the drivers side collector at a right angle. Wouldn't that hurt flow, or is there a reason behind it?

What are the details of your setup as far as engine configuration, engine management etc?
