Re: procharger question

You don't have to run the pcv hose to within 1" of the filter. I think that is just for emissions. Mine is running to the pass. side fender.

I moved my MAF to after the head unit but you have to buy some extra hose. I fabbed all my blower tubing so I just bought some 3.5" to 4" reducers(silicon) for the maf.

Can't help with the pump. I can't remember and I switched to an in-tank anyway.

Re: procharger question

You can do it either way. As far as efficiency goes, I don't know what is better. Before I even installed mine, I chose to put it after the head unit. I felt like the stock setup which was one size at the blower inlet, then necked down to fit the maf, was not as good as my current setup. Now it has a full 4" inlet with a 4" filter inlet. It blows through the maf with no decrease in tubing diameter. It actually increases diameter at the maf ends.

Some people say it helps there idle when the maf is after the unit.

Re: procharger question

With respect to the MAF, I would place it on the incoming side of the blower. When I switched mine I had some drivability issues. Same reason why many OEM turbo/supercharer equipped cars have the MAF before the blower/turbo. I have seen others run the MAF on the pressure side without issues, but procharger and other companies seem to recommend against this practice.
